In today’s blog-influenced world, marketers are guilty of over-writing. Sadly, the art of carefully crafted copy writing that conveys a message concisely and creatively has been lost. No doubt this is due in large part to google algorithms that have rewarded us with high-ranking search results for writing based on keyword frequency. It is easier to sacrifice quality than to spend the time required to actually write well using keywords.
There’s nothing more frustrating than a website or a blog that doesn’t actually SAY anything. Digital marketing experts tell us that in order to build engagement something should be seen on social media three times, and Google tells us that there is an optimal percentage a keyword should appear on a page in order to rank in search. But digital marketing copy writing requires skill as well as strategy.
Your content should be well written and actually convey useful information that your audience needs or can learn from. Showing your customers that you respect their time by providing a positive user experience starts with good copy.
